It's almost time!

The new release is scheduled to release to the general public tomorrow. Do you have your wishlist ready?

Stamps: 2-7172C Beach Sign, 2-7174D Surfboard, 8-8570C Sunsational Day

My apologies for the cruddy picture but I haven't had a moment to retake it. Hope you all had an enjoyable extended weekend. Ours was rather uneventful but I did manage to get the garage cleaned out. That's always a good thing.

Sail Away

Another gorgeous day in the PNW! We went to the Mariner's game last night, which was a lot of fun. It went into the 12th inning but we left in the 10th. It was so neat to be able to see Randy Johnson pitch again, even if it was against us. It's like watching an amazing machine. When his time was up on the mound, the stadium game him a standing ovation. Seattle loves Randy Johnson.

Stamps: 2-7173D Sailboat, 2-4148C Sun, 8-8567B Life's a breeze, 3-4097C waves
Paper: Chiffon Orange, Orange Petite Gingham, Stampin Up Night of Navy

I'm hoping my husband gets a chance to get his boat out in the water this weekend. We don't have a sailboat but you get the picture. Sunshine + water + boat = FUN!!! Keep checking the Creative Team's blogs for more fun 'amuse-bouche'!

Hooray for Summer!!

Can you feel it? It's right around the corner. No, I don't mean summer. I mean another A Muse release! hahaha. I guess summer's right around the corner, too, and may have already made it's appearance for some of you. Here in the Pacific Northwest we've had some lovely sunshine but there's been some crazy rain as well.

You are going to go all freaky when you see this entire A Muse release. I think it's the best summer release I've ever seen. You'll want one of everything. I mean it. You will.

Stamps: 2-4150D Open Palm, 2-4148C Sun, 8-8562B a warm hello, 2-4096A Tiny Crab, 3-5012C Skinny Oval Bl Sm

It's early here so I couldn't get the best shot but I didn't get this card done until this morning. You are supposed to ignore the shadow and the crooked sentiment. You haven't had your coffee yet either, have you? Good, then you won't even notice!

I know lots of stores have been ordering these lovelies so check with your local stamp store to see if they've purchased theirs yet. Otherwise you'll have to wait until the 27th for the release to be available to the public on the A Muse website.

Favorites

There's still a lot of action happening over at the A Muse News Blog during the Anniversary celebration. There are some adorable blinkies you can add to your blog and there's a fabulous card created by Jill that's posted today. Be sure to head on over! It's been so fun to see the winners. Will you be next??

I'm not sharing any old stamps with you today but I'm sharing some of my favorites. The clear Trees 1 and Trees 2 sets are definite must haves for any A Muse collection. The sentiments are great and the trees are so fun. Tiny Bird also just happens to coordinate quite nicely.

My cousin's daughter is also having a birthday soon. I created this fun journal for her using the Making Memories Just Chillin girls line as well as my Slice. The letters spelling her name, though, are painted American Crafts Thickers. Those things are awesome! My LSS was out of the lime green ones so I bought the plain chipboard and painted them. What do you think? Perfect for a 12yr old?

Oldie but goodie

Stamps: ice cream cone (no longer available), 9-8144B Fun in the sun!

Another quick post and another oldie but goodie to share. Despite the crazy windy and rainy weather in the Pacific Northwest, I know summer is coming right around the corner. There's nothing better (besides the warm sunshine) than a yummy ice cream cone. Around here, folks head down to the beach and buy yummy ice cream cones from a quaint little place near the ferry landing. It's always Chocolate Chip Mint for me! What's your favorite?

Hope you are enjoying the A Muse 8th Anniversary celebration going on over at the A Muse blog. We've already had a few winners. The next time it could be you! The current challenge ends on Saturday, May 9 so be sure to head over to the blog and post your comment for a chance to win! Plus, you really need to see Beth's totally awesome card.

By the way, I will need to reschedule my Boyz to Men class again.

Oldie but Goodie

Stamps: Boat (no longer available), 2-5031F dotted lines bl, 9-8250B life's simple pleasures

Just a quick post today. I have another oldie but goodie for you. I've been playing with my stamps lately and trying to stick to the clean and simple designs. I really like how this one turned out but with the crazy weather around here I wasn't able to get a great shot. Anyway, this card used what must have been one of my first A Muse stamps called 'Boat'. I also used the dotted lines bl stamp for the waves...I just didn't ink all of it up. One of my brothers-in-law used to have a rust orange colored boat so I inked this cute little boat up with some SU Pumpkin Pie. I love a blue and orange combo for summer time images!

Okay, gotta run! Enjoy your day!

For Mom

Stamps: Classic Labels Clear Set, 2-4145E vine border, 9-8558B Home is

This card is posted on the A Muse News blog today. I thought it would be a great way to showcase the A Muse 8th Anniversary Labels set and give you a Mother's Day card idea at the same time. The 'mom' came from the new 'Home is where your Mom is' sentiment.

Keep watching the A Muse blog as it's on contest #2. Who doesn't want to win something?! It's super easy to try so head on over there.

Happy Birthday!!!

If you've been following the A Muse blog you know A Muse is celebrating their 8th birthday! Wow! I can't believe it's been 8 years already! While the A Muse blog will be celebrating all week long (from the 1st through the 15th, actually), I'm celebrating myself by showing some oldies but goodies that some of you old time fans might have in your stashes. I want to make sure you know, though, that the A Muse blog will have lots of challenges and inspiration to share so be sure to follow along. You might even win something! Don't forget, A Muse has also released a special 8th Anniversary edition clear label set that works great with Marvy punches. Click here to learn how to earn your very own free set!!

Stamps: 3-5046G Harlequin Bl, 7-7056E BBQ tools, 9-8055B Happy Summer
All stamps are no longer available

Remember these oldies but goodies? The sun has come out in the PNW which means the BBQs have been busy. I love the smell in the air of my neighbors' BBQs, especially the charcoal ones. You KNOW when someone's having a yummy steak for dinner! LOL. Of course, our BBQ has been seeing some action, too.

By the way, I'll be at Stampin-In-The-Rain celebrating their 5th birthday on Sunday with a Slice demonstration from 2:30 to 4:30. We'll be making a cute little tag showcasing the Slice and A Muse stamps, of course! Hope to see you there! Be sure to come to the store early. Kim has lots of great things in store for you starting with Lisa Lee from Inchie Arts at 11:30. There will be door prize drawings, refreshments, and more including a shopping discount! Just in time for Mother's Day!

Sorry, had to edit the post regarding Stampin-In-The-Rain. Dani from Rubber Soul was on yesterday's schedule. Sunday starts with Lisa Lee from Inchie Arts.
