Stampin-In-The-Rain
I teach classes at a fun little shop called Stampin-In-The-Rain. Actually, the shop isn't so little any more. The shop has moved to a larger location, still within Bothell Country Village in Bothell, WA. Kim, the owner of Stampin-In-The-Rain, has a well stocked array of all your stamping needs and is more than happy to order anything she doesn't have if she can get her hands on it for you. Her shop is well known for great customer service.
Bothell Country Village is a fabulous destination site if you are visiting the Seattle area. It's full of quaint specialty shops, some catering to a country decor. Don't mistake that for dowdy, though. These shops are more shabby chic. There are some great little eateries like the Country Cafe, Stella Mia, and my favorite Susan's Sweets, which is occupies the old space that Stampin-In-The-Rain had.
This picture is of what is to the left of Stampin-In-The-Rain. I wanted to show you how beautiful the walking areas are. This leads to the courtyard area where there is a little pond where you can feed the ducks. There's also an open area where they frequently hold special events. This quaint little shopping village even has train rides for your kids! So much fun!
I have two classes scheduled in October at Stampin-In-The-Rain. One is on Thurs, Oct 2 and the other on Sunday, Oct 12. Both are for Halloween themed cards. My samples are up in the shop if you want to take a look but here is one of the cards we will be making in the class on the 19th. I would love to have you join us. Contact the store directly for details...the number is under my class schedule on the right side bar.

This looks like such an awesome spot! I'd love to check it out sometime! Too bad my kiddos won't be with me in November - they'd love then train rides!
hThat looks like such a neat little shopping area! How fun to teach there!
Love your card too!!!
We used to live in Edmonds, WA and visiting Country Village was one of my favorite things to do. I used to spend hours there just walking around and checking out all the little shops. Thanks for the pictures reminding of that wonderful spot!
3315What a beautiful area--I really would love to go to the Seattle area sometime soon--it's kind of like an Addict mecca isn't it?

I as so excited to read you talking about Stamping In the Rain because I was able to get into that store this summer when we were in the area. It is an adorable store in an adorable area! SO glad I found it.
Is your class October 12th or the 19th? I'll be at the Dave Brethauer class on the 18th so that weekend I probably won't be doing 2. But if it's the 12th I might swing by. LMK. N
Hi, Nicole! Thanks for catching that type-o. It's the 12th. I corrected the post. Hope to see you!
Can't believe I just visited this store! Didn't know you were so close and yet, so far!!!
Love the card and the pics! I've ordered online from Stampin' in the Rain before - wish I still lived on the west coast so that I could visit in person (and take one of your classes!)
