Think Spring

I've been gone for a while. It was a nice little break. I was sick, then went to Las Vegas over Valentine's Day weekend (I hardly have any pictures as I thought my camera was broken) and came back to a very busy week of catching up. I've had all sorts of school projects, Creative Team projects, class samples to make, etc. Not to mention the laundry.... oh, and my day job. I've had no time to stamp for fun which translates to "nothing I can share."

I'm just finalizing my samples for my next Slice class at Lasting Memories. We'll be making some spring cards using the Basics 1 and Basics 2 cartridges and next month we'll have a fun project.

I'm sharing a sample for my class at Stampin-In-The-Rain tomorrow evening. Although, sign ups look weak and it's likely I'll have to cancel this class. Sorry, Susan!!! If you've been contemplating signing up, be sure to do it today!! There's going to be an instructor used stamp sale at Stampin-In-The-Rain this Saturday, though, from noon to 4pm. There will be great deals to be had, I'm sure! I know I'm looking forward to having some space back by parting with some treasures from my stash. If you plan on coming, be sure to bring cash!!

Now go and have a great rest of the week!

Sneak Peek

I think I might go to the dr today. It feels like my cold is moving into bronchitis and I have asthma so that's not good. I'm concerned that I'm going to get worse while I'm out of town and get into trouble. Better to be safe than sorry, I think, and if I start antibiotics now I should be feeling much better by the time I leave. Hmm...yeah. Sounds like a good plan!

Okay, well here's my sneak peek for you!

Stamps: grass, turtle, carload, belated birthday
Notecard: green kitchen, surf, cabana blue TD

Only one more sleep until you can get these puppies for yourself (unless you are fortunate to live near an LSS that carries A Muse and should already have theirs in stock)! Hooray for new stamps! For this card I stamped the turtle first, masked him off with some Eclipse Masking tape, then stamped the grass. I then used the carload stamp and just inked the packages on top of the car. Using my stamp positioner, I carefully positioned the packages on top of the turtle's shell. If you don't have a stamp positioner, you should get one! There's one in the 'tools' section of the A Muse online store. Just throw one in your cart while you're picking up your new stamps!

Sneak Peek

I have another sneak peek to share with you today. Have you been having lots of fun checking out all the other sneak peeks being offered by the rest of the A Muse Creative Team? I know I have. We are just as excited to see each other's posts as you are! I'm going to keep this short since I'm still sick (and I need to get better fast cuz I'm going to Vegas at the end of the week!!).

Stamps: Bunny Wheelbarrow, Happy Easter MA, Egg Line
Notecard: Purple Chiffon 4-bar, green chiffon notecard for grass
Ink: A Muse Black Dye, Versamagic Pretty Petunia

Sneak Peek

I've been sick since late Friday night. It started feeling like I had a sore throat but by Saturday afternoon, I was just feeling badly all over, especially with headaches. Today, my headache finally disappeared for a little while so I hurried into my craft room to get a few cards done to share with you all. Hopefully my headache stays gone. I just hate being sick!

Stamps: The Sky's the Limit, Clouds, Rocket
Notecard: Chiffon Blue, Cabana Blue TD
Accessories: Making Memories Page Pebbles, A Muse Clear Candy Scalloped Oval Sticker

I haven't noticed the new 'The Sky's the Limit' sentiment in any of the new sneak peeks so I thought I'd share that one with you. I paired it with the new clouds and the rocket ship from last year's Valentine release. It just so happens that a Making Memories Page Pebble fits right into that rocket's window! They're hard to find, though, and I don't even know if MM makes them anymore. Hope you're enjoying all the sneak peeks! This new release becomes available on Feb 11th. Be sure to check with your local store to get yours!

Wohoo!!! Sneak Peeks!!!

Oh, man. You just have to love sneak peeks! I know, I know. You are all still acquiring and recovering over the Valentine release but today is the start of sneak peeks for the  A Muse Spring/Easter release. It's a doozy, too! Sooo cute and really versatile images good for any time of year.

Who can't use a cute birthday image? These party chicks are da bomb!

For this card I took a white 4-bar notecard and punched a rectangle out of it using the pink Marvy Rectangle punch. Then on a piece of Orange notecard, I punched the same rectangle out of it, then used the purple Marvy Scalloped Rectangle punch to create a frame and adhered it over the punched notecard. This created a cute little window. Then I stamped the cute chicks in the center and colored them. Now, who's birthday did I miss?

Wowie!

I am very blessed to have so many friends, some of whom I participate in a monthly RAK with. For January, my friend Dawn (aka ReindeerTrout) was my RAKer. She even had a friend of hers hand deliver it today (okay, it was late but totally worth the wait!). Look at this beautiful piece of work, immediately hung on my craft room wall!

Isn't it gorgeous?! I love it. Thank you so much, RT!!!

Silly dog

I've introduced you to my dog, Ginger, before. I thought I'd share a silly thing my dogs do. I have another dog besides Ginger. We have a black lab mix named Sluggy. Yes, wonderful name isn't it? Anyway, Sluggy is 7 1/2 while Ginger is 2 1/2. Sluggy is on a senior dog food formula while Ginger isn't. Ginger loves to eat Sluggy's food while Sluggy loves to eat Ginger's food. Here's a picture of Ginger sneaking Sluggy's food. Notice that Ginger's dog dish is the lower set and there is food in her dish. Yet she sneaks up to Sluggy's. What a bunch of weirdos! I have no idea why my dogs do this. Sluggy really needs the extra glucosamine that's in her senior formula so it drives me crazy that she eats Ginger's food. When I catch her, she'll eat her own food but I don't always catch her. Arrgghh!

I don't know why I wanted to share that with you.

Anyway, been playing around with my Greeting Farm stamps a little bit while also working on my A Muse cards. Here's my latest creation using the Pretty Head Lily digital image.

Perfect for a tween girl, don't you think?
